FACILITIES
Airport “Kikinda” is situated 10 km south of Kikinda and only 200 meters away from Kikinda-Zrenjanin-Belgrade road. Our airport has the hangar, several offices and rest rooms with capacity of 30 beds. At our DZ, you will also find large Air-conditioned club room, section for parachutes, a good clean toilet and shower block with hot water. Camping at the airport is allowed and free of charge.
AIRCRAFTS
Our club has three airplanes: Utva-75 for Pilot Training and Cessna 185 and PZL-104 Willga for parachute jumps.
Utva -75 is a light multi-purpose single engine twin-seat (side by side) aircraft. This completely metal, low wing aircraft, with a tricycle landing gear is primary intended for pilot training and for glider towing.
Cessna 185 is probably the best known and the most common parachuting carrier in the world, providing 5 places for parachutists. It`s production started in mid-60`s, lasted over 40 years with total number of 4300 produced planes. C-185 is relatively silent plane, it has convenient exit door and it has a good climb speed to the jump altitude.
PZL-104 Willga is one of Poland's most successful light aircraft exports, a plane made to carry three passengers or parachutists with comfortable interior. It has a large door and provides easy exit during parachute jumps, feature which is specially important for students. Both planes can and are used for First Jump Students and Static line jumps.

PILOT SCHOOL / RECREATIONAL FLYING
Our club offers a Training for The Private Pilot`s Licence (PPL). This licence permits holder to act as pilot-in-command or co-pilot of a single engine airplane, in any of the aeroplane types or classes specified in the aircraft rating in the licence. Candidate for this licence is a Student pilot, and he/she may commence training without licence under the supervision of suitably qualified flight instructor. During this Course, a student pilot may (without a licence) act as a pilot-in-command and fly solo if a following conditions are complied with:
1) The student pilot is at least 16 years of age;
2) The student pilot holds a medical certificate validated by an approved Authorized Medical Examiner and complies with any restrictions stated thereon (eg. to wear spectacles,...)
This program is based on the requirements of JAR FCL1 (Joint Aviation Requirements Flight Crew Licencing - Aeroplane):
- a minimum of 45 hours training, of which a minimum of 25 hours Dual Instruction and 10 hours Solo Flight,
- Solo flight must include 5 hours of cross-country flying and one flight must be of at least 150 nautical miles, with two intermediate full-stop landings made away from the departure field. (Solo flight may be undertaken from the age of 16, but the PPL will not be issued before the applicant reaches 17 years of age.
For holders of valid PPL licence, we can offer recreational flying on planes Utva-75, Cessna 172 and Cessna 185.
Recreational flying and flying Training will be charged at official club`s rates.

PARACHUTING
Our mission at Aero club “KIKINDA” is to provide a good environment and a friendly atmosphere in which to introduce people into the thrills of skydiving, with a keen eye on safety. To do that we have the best qualified instructors, good facilities and modern equipment.
We believe we are offering an excellent service at a fair price. We are a small organization, providing personalized coaching, high quality training and very low prices. Every encouragement is given to anyone wishing to progress, after his/her first skydive, towards becoming a qualified skydiver.
All the equipment in use at the Aero club “Kikinda” is the latest in design technology. The Student parachutes are high - performance ram - air (square) canopies “Navigator” made by Performance Designs (USA) and “VŠ“ canopies made by domestic Parachute Factory „KLUZ“. These canopies are highly maneuverable and are designed to give soft, usually stand-up landings, even on your first jump. Main canopies, as well as reserves and harness-systems are very safe, reliable and less than 3 years old. At present, all our Student parachutes are equipped with Vigil and Cypress AAD`s (Automatic Activation Devices - designed to activate the opening sequence of a parachute at a programmed height above the ground, in the event that you don't).
SKYDIVING COURSES
A) FIRST JUMP COURSE (solo skydive from 1000 meters with Static Line Deployment)
This course has been designed to introduce you to parachuting. After completing the basic training course you will exit the aircraft solo at 1000 meters. As you leave the aircraft, the main parachute will be deployed by Static Line attached to aircraft (Static Line is a line attached to the aircraft, which deploys the main parachute and then remains attached to the airplane). First Jump also includes 3-4 minutes of parachute descent and landing on the airfield. Control of parachute by student whilst under parachute is also made easier by the fact that a radio is fitted to your harness, so that voice commands can back up the instructions that were given to you during your ground training.
This course is inexpensive and can usually be completed entirely in two or three days. A complete set of course notes is supplied for the theory and altimeter and goggles are all supplied for the jump. After the First Jump every student gets First Jump Certificate, as a proof of his accomplishment. All that student need to supply for the Course is loose fitting, comfortable clothing and a pair of running shoes (sneakers).
Prerequisites:
• 16 years of age
• Valid Medical Certificate for parachutist (available at our Club)
• Third-party insurance (available at our Club)
• Satisfactory completion of the First Jump Course, with theoretical and practical phase and positive exam results
The "First Jump Course" is a system designed to teach student parachutists skills utilizing the Static Line syllabus. This is the traditional method of Parachute Training.
Initial training takes around eight hours to complete. All aspects of skydiving pertaining to your first jump are covered in this session. The training is divided into three phases.
The first part of this Course is the Theoretical phase. It includes information such as:
• Course Overview
• Parachuting Equipment
• Aircraft Types and Exit procedures
• Body Control on Exit (Stability)
• Canopy Handling Skills (Driving the Parachute)
• Landing the Parachute (under different conditions)
• Parachute Recovery
• At the end of this phase, student have to satisfactorily pass the test
The second Phase is the Practical Phase. It includes:
• Fitting and checking equipment
• Aircraft seating and movement
• Aircraft exit procedures
• Stability after Exit (Body Control in Free Fall)
• handling (in a suspended harness)
• Malfunctions and emergency procedures
• Landing the parachute (Radio assistance, assistance with hands and landing without assistance)
• Final practice of all skills for the first jump
The third phase is the Jumping Phase. Assessments are made on the following:
• Fitting and checking equipment
• Final Exit practice
• Pre-exit procedures
• Exit from the aircraft
• Stability after Exit
• Canopy Handling (Driving the parachute)
• Landing the parachute
• De-Briefing
B) The Static Line progression is a two-stage program, which usually takes eight to ten jumps to complete. The first stage consists of 3-6 jumps from 1000 meters above ground level. The Parachute is activated immediately after exiting the aircraft, via a Static Line. Students have to complete three consecutive jumps successfully before they can progress to next stage. Second stage consists of 3-5 Static Line jumps, with stable exit and dummy ripcord pulls. Students have to complete three consecutive jumps successfully before they can progress to next stage – Free fall jumps.
C) Free Fall progression is initially completed Solo. Altitudes for this part of Student Progression rises from 1000 to 2000 meters. The students jump by themselves and are monitored from the aircraft. Later stages of progression can involve jumping together with Instructors. Additional skills such as Parachute packing, Aircraft Spotting (directing the Plane) and Advanced Parachute Handling are taught as the course progresses. Lower jumping altitudes result in lower overall costs. This system has a financial advantage over other methods. Students are usually quite close to attaining their 'A' license at the completion of this course.
D) We are also open for all experienced parachutists with valid licence and we are certified for Training of parachutists for Jumpmaster and Instructor rating, as well as for specialized jumps (night, water, high altitude and demo jump authorization).
